AAU XC Nationals
| Virginia Beach, VA |

A cold blustery day in Virginia was no day at the
beach. But the Lightning were able to turn in a strong
performances all day long.
The races started in frigid conditions as
temperatures hovered around 30 degrees. The
pancake flat course offered no relief from the steadily
increasing winds. But Adrienne Curtis set the tone for
the day by taking Fourth Place Overall in the Young
Girls Division. From that point on it was a record
setting day for DCAC as teams claimed two second place
trophies. With multiple runners finishing in the top 25,
and many runners establishing new personal bests the day
truly was a team success.
